Uniform Commercial Code (UCC)
adopted in January, 1963: Recorded
with County Clerk in county where
debtor resides or where property is

As per the UCC, repossession is
allowed and permitted as long as it
is peaceful.
Redemption Requirements:
No provisions.
Deficiency Requirements:
Confession of judgment notes
invalid.
Special Motor Vehicle Provisions:
No provisions.
Documents Required to Transfer
Ownership of Motor Vehicle:
Title in lienholder's or debtor's
name, certified copy of lien
instrument, affidavit of
repossession, Bill of Sale.
Documents Required for
Liquidation:
Out of state titles must be in the
name of lienholder. In Oklahoma copy
of a security agreement (certified),
lien released or repossession title
in the name of lienholder.
Plates:
Remain with the
vehicle.
